Road accident victims will soon get immediate and cashless medical treatment under a new healthcare scheme, road transport and highways minister Nitin Gadkari said on Thursday. The scheme will cover treatment at selected hospitals even if the injured person does not have insurance.

For the first time, domestic tractor sales in a calendar year, in 2025 crossed the one million mark and exports crossed one lakh. In 2025, domestic tractor salw as 10.90 lakh (1.09 million) units as against 9.10 lakh units in 2024. The domestic sales were up by 20 per cent over the previous year, according to Tractor Manufacturers Association data.

Using satellite data for 4,041 statutory towns, CREA found that 1,787 cities breached the national annual PM2.5 standard every year between 2019 and 2024, excluding the Covid year. LG Energy sees surprise loss as EV demand outlook cools
LG Energy Solution Ltd. reported a surprise preliminary operating loss for the fourth quarter, as the slow unraveling of electric vehicle demand in key markets darkens the outlook for South Korea’s largest battery maker.  It had an operating loss of 122 billion won ($83.8 million) in the three months ended Dec. 31, the company said.
